High Holy Day Info for Registrants

Thank you for registering for High Holy Day services!

• Kol Nidre begins Sunday, September 24 at 6:00 p.m.
• Yom Kippur day begins Monday, September 25 at 9:00 a.m.

If you registered for online services:

• You will receive the link to join the livestream this Friday, September 22 by 5 p.m.
• This link will be the same for Kol Nidre and all Yom Kippur services.
• Families with Children services taking place at CBST are livestreamed via a different link, which will be sent specifically to Families with Children service registrants.

If you registered for in-person services:

QR Code Tickets

• If you are registered for in-person Kol Nidre or Yom Kippur, you will receive an email this Friday, September 22 by 5 p.m. EDT with a unique QR code that will serve as your ticket for attending.
• You will receive a separate QR code for each service you registered for (Kol Nidre, Yom Kippur Day, Yom Kippur Minchah / Neilah service).
• Hold on to these emails and be ready to present them at the door when you arrive, either with your phone or device, or print and bring a paper copy of the code(s) to be scanned by CBST staff at check-in.
• Other guests in your party who were registered on the same form with a valid email address will also receive the group’s ticket(s) via email.
• Your QR code email will also contain the livestream info, should you or one of your guests be unable to attend in person.

Locations

• Main Services for Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, 429 11th Avenue (at 35th Street).
• Families with Children Services run concurrently at CBST, 130 West 30th Street, for children accompanied by their grownups. These are not drop-off services; children must attend with adult supervision.

Timing

• Services begin promptly at their start times. Doors will open 45 minutes prior to service start times. Please allow extra time for check-in.
• We will be utilizing magnetometer screening at Jacob Javits. Please allow for more time for processing at arrival. 
• Seating is first-come, first served. Seats will not be held for late arrivals.

A Healthy New Year

• Please review our health and safety guidelines for High Holy Days. This page also contains important accessibility and facilities info.
• There will be no coat or bag checks available. Please refrain from bringing bags and large items. All bags are subject to inspection.

Yom Kippur Afternoon Classes

After Yom Kippur day services, we will offer classes and breakout groups at roughly 2:45 p.m. See below for the options to choose from for in-person services. We will also offer an online zoom class for those attending services online. No pre-registration required to attend any classes. Services resume again at 4:30 p.m. with Minchah, followed by Neilah.
