Ariel Kates, Communications Director

Ariel is thrilled to return to CBST as Director of Communications, bringing experience in non-profit communications and marketing, administration, and programs, most recently as Director of Marketing at NYC’s Museum of Jewish Heritage. Ariel is passionate about building and sustaining communities in ways that celebrate our Jewish and queer histories and support our dreams for the future. Ariel is also a storyteller and ritual-maker, writer and translator, foodie, and beach-lover. Ariel holds a BA in Jewish History and an MFA in Creative Writing, and lives in Brooklyn.
