CBST Oneg: "Chapter 8: Singing a New Song"

After Shabbat services on Friday, August 18, we held our 50th Anniversary Oneg, “Chapter 8: Singing a New Song.” During the Oneg, Cantor Rosen was in conversation with Rabbi Kleinbaum and CBST Music Director Joyce Rosenzweig.

Music has been central to our spiritual lives from the early days of being entirely lay-led, to the first CBST community chorus led by Joyce in 1994 (see page 182 of Rabbi Ayelet Cohen’s book!) to the amazing range of music that CBST includes in concerts and services today.
