Shabbat Sits, a Mindfulness Meditation Group
Shabbat Sits is a community of CBST congregants and friends who meet for silent meditation, study, and discussion with a soft focus on the intersection among mindfulness, Jewish, and other meditation practices. Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience or lineage. Some members have had long and ongoing practices; others are just beginning. We’d love to have you join us!
We usually meet twice a month at CBST and on Zoom, either on Friday evenings for about 30 minutes before Kabbalat Shabbat services, or on Saturday afternoons for an hour as part of the Shabbat Shalem programming. Brief meditation instruction is offered at each meeting.
For more information or to get on the Shabbat Sits mailing list, email meditation@CBST.org.
