City of Faith Museum Visit

On August 10, clergy and members of CBST enjoyed a group tour of City of Faith, currently showing at the Museum of the City of New York. Our friend Asad Dandia (who has taught the CBST community before!) led us through the compact but fascinating exhibit, which is packed with material and depth and yields surprising revelations. And CBST has a cameo appearance in the exhibit, in the background of a photo of the Islamic Center at NYU holding Jummah prayers at Washington Square Park! We benefitted from Asad’s passion for sharing and celebrating stories of victories for religious freedom highlighted in this exhibit.

City of Faith is on view through October 22. Get there if you can!
