Josh Lehrer is both a commercial and fine arts photographer. His book Hamilton: Portraits From a Revolution, was published by Rizzoli, in April 2020. He is a Trustee of the Riverside Park Conservancy, the Madoo Conservancy, and works closely with the science team at Sequoia National Park and the Archangel Ancient Tree Archive where clones, propagate, and plant genetic duplicates of very old “Champion Trees.” He is a graduate of Boston University’s School for the Arts and the International Center of Photography. He is the steward of an old growth forest in Northern Westchester where he is busy restoring 100 acres of forest land to pre-industrial health and creating a living example of what sustainability can look and feel like in the 21st century. His partner Jeffrey Seller, a Broadway theater producer, and they live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with their two teenage children.
