Amelia Prince, Director

Amelia Prince has been a devoted member of CBST for over 20 years. She served for five years on the Congregational Retreat Committee—three as chair—helping to create meaningful, intergenerational experiences for the community. Her commitment to Jewish education includes years on the Children’s Education Committee and active support for Limmud, b*mitzvah, and teen programming. She served on both the 2016 and 2023 rabbinic search committees and currently serves on the Communication and the Engagement Committees.

Professionally, Amelia is the Director of Professional Development at ProLiteracy Worldwide, a support and advocacy organization focused on empowering adults through foundational and family literacy. She has written curricula and conducted trainings for Amnesty International, UNICEF, the Vera Institute, Make the Road, NY Peace Institute, and others. Amelia is a trained facilitator, writer, and storyteller, and works to bring those skills and more to her beloved community of CBST.
