Pride and Protest: A CBST Solidarity Delegation to Jerusalem Pride
and the Democracy Protests
Thursday, June 1 through Monday, June 5
CBST has decided to send a small delegation of members, led by Rabbi James, to Jerusalem to participate in Jerusalem Pride on June 1, and the protest in Jerusalem on Saturday night/motzei shabbat June 3. Join CBST as we heed the call of our friends at the Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance and others, bringing a small delegation of CBST members to march in Jerusalem Pride and join a Saturday evening Democracy protest - led by Rabbi Marisa James and joined by Rabbi Mike Moskowitz. Jerrold Nadler (NY-12) has been an original co-sponsor of every major piece of LGBT civil rights legislation for the last twenty-plus years. He personally authored the Respect for Marriage Act (RMA), the Uniting American Families Act (UAFA), the Father Mychal Judge Act, and the Equal Access to Social Security Act, marking his place as a central architect of LGBT legislative strategy in Congress. Families with Children Pride Party Activities and Resources
Limmud b'Shabbat Siyyum
Saturday, June 10, 10:00–11:30 a.m. | Please join us for a siyyum, a celebration to our studies this year! On Saturday, June 10, each Limmud class will help lead a piece of the Liberal Shabbat morning service with the congregation during their normal class time.
