"My House" and "Oseh Shalom"

During our Board Installation Shabbat, we honored the exceptional lay leadership of our congregation by singing Leonard Bernstein‘s “My House.” This beautiful song not only pays tribute to the remarkable individuals who contribute to our beloved CBST but also celebrates our community as a beacon of light and hope in the world.

“My House” has a special resonance for us, as it was a recurring theme during our “A Home of Our Own” capital campaign. This heartfelt piece serves as a guide for constructing a strong and resilient home built on faith, truth, and love. Over the past four years, we have expanded the walls of our house to encompass all the places from which we gather, both in-person and online.

As always, we conclude with a much-needed prayer for peace.
