His establishment of the Scientific-Humanitarian Committee marked one of the first organized efforts to promote LGBTQ rights.<\/span><\/p> <\/p>Eve Adams, a trailblazing Jewish immigrant from Eastern Europe,\u00a0played a pivotal role in the early lesbian rights movement. She is known for her writing, and the establishment of one of the first lesbian bars in the United States.<\/span><\/p> <\/p>Both Magnus Hirshfeld and Eve Adams were also victims of Nazi Germany. <\/span><\/p> <\/p>\ufeffIn this talk, we will delve into their remarkable lives, examining their legacies, struggles, and the sociopolitical landscapes they navigated. Discover how their advocacy laid the groundwork for future generations and should continue to inspire today's LGBTQ movements.
