Dr. Dalton's Kabbalat Shabbat Talk On "Idealism and Realism"

On Friday, April 12, Dr. Dennis Dalton honored Rabbi Kleinbaum, sharing some of their experiences fighting for social justice and exploring the philosophical divides between realism and idealism.

Dr. Dalton also reflected on historical and philosophical perspectives on realism and idealism, drawing from Thucydides and Plato to explore human nature and societal conflicts. He underscored the role of understanding and nonviolence in navigating societal challenges, urging a shift from revenge to reconciliation.
