“Leading with our guiding principles is what will help set our moral compass, whether that is support for immigrants in part through the Ark [Immigration] Clinic, or doubling down on pressure on legislators and in the media to make sure that we do all we can to protect LGBTQ+ children, who now fear even more for their safety, or calling out the dangerous and despicable manner in which those now in power are determined to dehumanize trans people, we need to be clear in our opposition to the deeply offensive actions of the current administration, and we need to be ready to act, both collectively and individually, to back up our beliefs.”
