Rooted in the tradition of Shabbat Shirah, the special Shabbat when Jewish communities around the world celebrate the miracle of liberation through song, these concerts have become a defining expression of CBST\u2019s soul and our commitment to creating beautiful music and art.<\/p> <\/strong><\/p> <\/strong>In 2026, we will mark an extraordinary milestone: ten years in our home on West 30th Street. From humble beginnings dreaming up \u201ca home of our own,\u201d to our vibrant, sparkling space in the heart of New York City, CBST is a spiritual home for the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.\u00a0<\/p> <\/strong><\/p> <\/strong>Join us on Thursday, February 5th, at 7:30pm for an eclectic concert featuring Cantor Sam Rosen, Music Director Joyce Rosenzweig, and Sally Wilfert, with the CBST Community Chorus and an array of guest singers and performers. This year\u2019s concert will include music by Leonard Bernstein, William Finn, Stephen Sondheim, and others, together with songs in Yiddish, Ladino, and Hebrew.
