Shabbat Pinchas 2024

Senior Rabbi Jason Klein: “I think ultimately the greatest truths come through dialogue, through connection, through recognizing that, when we can surrender even a little, when we can give up that power over, when we can connect, whether it’s with our four siblings, or our community, or people we haven’t been in touch with for a while.

“There is so much power to be gained, power to—power to connect, power to cross divides that maybe we didn’t realize could be bridged, power to—at such a powerful inflection point in the history of this country and the world—to bring us toward a world of more hope, of democracy, of kindness, of connectedness, of justice, and peace.”

Rabbi Jason Klein delivered this drashah at Kabbalat Shabbat services on Friday, July 26, 2024 / 21 Tamuz 5784.
