Israeli Youth Whose Loved Ones Are Hostages in Gaza Visit CBST

Last Shabbat, CBST welcomed an Israeli youth delegation whose loved ones are hostages in Gaza, part of an initiative of the Hostages and Missing Families Forum to keep the faces and stories of the hostages in the forefront.

“Sometimes I think that the only thing left for us to do is just pray for them to be back,” said Natalie, one member of the delegation.

“Please continue to be with us and support us and tell everybody, wherever you go, the stories,” said Ila, another delegation member. “It’s very important that the world believes our story.”

CBST will continue to amplify calls for the safe return of hostages and we join in fervent prayer with the visiting youth delegation.

“This synagogue, here in New York City, is really dedicated to sending you love and support,” said Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum, vowing CBST’s commitment to ensure that victims’ “voices are heard, and the visibility is maintained.”
