Rabbi Jason Klein's Drashah for Shabbat Matot-Masei, 2025
“I have been thinking a lot about the world that could be: a world with peace and justice, integrity and truth, reparations and reconciliation for Jews and for Palestinians in and beyond the land of Israel,” said Rabbi Jason Klein this past Shabbat. In recognizing that right now there are fellow Jews who are starving people in Gaza, Rabbi Klein named what stings and called for other American Jewish leaders to address the reality of what is happening right now in Gaza. He emphasized the need for justice, for direct service and advocacy to support Gaza, and to focus on the existence and the rights of every human being.
