Rabbi Jason Klein's Drashah for Shabbat Eikev, 2025

Every year, as we approach the Days of Awe, we have an opportunity to ask ourselves questions the way that Moshe did. What do I need to remember from the past year, and how can I use those memories constructively as I approach the New Year, am I doing enough? Will I be better? Will the world be better? What if we imagine that Moshe is not a person, not simply a person with an intersectional identity as an Israelite raised in the palace of ancient Egypt. And what if we imagine that Moshe is not simply our greatest prophet or greatest teacher? What if we imagine Moshe Rabbeinu as a magician?

Rabbi Jason Klein gave this drashah on Friday, August 15 / 22 Av. Watch his full talk above.
