Adam Berger, Director

Adam Berger has been coming to CBST since the late 1990s, when he was a member of Aleinu, CBST’s 20s and 30s group. He was an inaugural co-chair of the Koleinu social justice initiative and the ceremonial “first spouse” when his husband, Steve Frank, was Board President from 2009-2012. Since moving to Boston, Adam and Steve still maintain a strong relationship to CBST through virtual attendance at Shabbat services and in-person attendance at High Holy Days services. They have had naming ceremonies for each of their children at CBST. Their oldest son celebrated his b*mitzvah in 2022 and two of his siblings are studying for theirs in 2026.
