Rabbi Dave Yedid, Cooperberg-Rittmaster Rabbinical Intern

Rabbi Dave Yedid (he/him) is thrilled to be in his second year as Cooperberg-Rittmaster Rabbinical Intern. Rabbi Yedid graduated this year from The Jewish Theological Seminary, where he was a Wexner Graduate Fellow/Davidson Scholar.

Of Syrian and Ashkenazi heritage, Rabbi Yedid was raised in Port Washington, New York. He graduated from Middlebury College, where he was a pioneer in the LGBTQ+ and Jewish communities. He spent seven summers on staff at Camp Ramah in the Rockies. Before rabbinical school, Rabbi Yedid lived in Bend, Oregon where he worked in wilderness therapy, supporting students to cope with acute trauma.

Rabbi Yedid has served as rabbinic intern at NYU Bronfman Center, BaMidbar Wilderness Therapy, and as a chaplain intern at The New Jewish Home. He is also an alumnus of Yeshivat Hadar and the T’ruah Israel Fellows program.

Rabbi Yedid lives on the Upper West Side with his partner, Daniel. He enjoys dancing and adventuring outdoors. He is excited to continue to grow and deepen with the incredible CBST community!
