Jillian T. Weiss first came to CBST in 1998, shortly after gender transition, where she found precious community. She is a lawyer in private practice focusing on gender identity and sexual orientation discrimination, and Special Co-Counsel to the LGBTQ practice group of Outten & Golden. She previously served as Executive Director of the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund, and Professor of Law & Society at Ramapo College.
