Jayson Littman has been serving on the Board of Directors, since 2020. Having been raised in an Orthodox Jewish home, it took him some time to reconcile his LGBT and Jewish identities. After five years of conversion therapy he came out as gay and founded Hebro – a social group for gay Jews. He joined CBST seeking a Jewish community and became a founding member of its CBST, the Middle East & Me team. As a lifelong New Yorker, he is proud to serve a dual role in Mayor de Blasio's administration as both Senior Advisor for LGBTQ Community Affairs and Director of Events at the Mayor's Office of Special Events. In his spare time, he enjoys long walks on subway platforms and exploring the East Village, where he currently resides.
