CRRI Yael Werber is a rising fifth year student at Hebrew College Rabbinical School. She is currently living in Boston, but considers her primary home the beautiful state of Vermont. Yael is an avid reader, swimmer, and walk in the woods-er (with her dog, and best companion, Ebbie). Before Rabbinical school she spent time doing many eclectic things including farming (proud alumna of the Adamah program), writing a children's book (Spring For Sophie, published by Simon & Schuster), and working in restaurants.
Since starting at Hebrew College she has fallen even more deeply in love with Torah, and has been grateful to spend the last few years serving as a rabbinic intern in communities in upstate New York, and Newton Massachusetts. She also loves a good adventure and spent last summer living in an off-grid cabin. She's hoping joining CBST as a Cooperberg-Rittmaster Rabbinical Intern will be at least as good of an adventure, if not more.
