Trans Jews are Here Convening - March 31, 2021
It is our pleasure to announce that we will be hosting the second Trans Jews are Here Convening this coming March 2021. With programming falling on Trans Day of Visibility, March 31, as well as other dates leading up to it, we are thrilled to be offering opportunities for learning, ritual, socializing, and engagement for trans, non-binary, and gender nonconforming Jews, as well as allies. As the schedule of events begins to take shape, under the leadership of our Convening Director, Ariel Zitny; our Scholar-in-Residence for Trans and Queer Jewish Studies, Rabbi Mike Moskowitz; and our Programming Coordinator, Jesse Katz, we wanted to offer you the opportunity to get involved from the ground up, as an organizational partner.
Partner with Us! Click here to sign up!
We have a variety of ways to partner and invite you to sign on in whatever capacity you feel most comfortable, noting that we would be honored to have you help make this program the best it can be. Your participation is a direct channel of support to the effort of creating sacred space for those in our community who are marginalized and by signing on, you will be helping to build a brighter world of inclusion, celebration, and liberation for our trans friends, family, and community members.
What does partnership mean?
All organizational partners and sponsors (regardless of monetary contribution amount) are asked to help spread the word to their communities, are invited to have their logo represented on our materials, and are invited to submit events for us to list on our website as part of the network of programming connected to the convening and more broadly - Trans Day of Visibility itself.
If your community or organization would like to host an event or program but would like to collaborate, please get in touch! We would love to be in dialogue with you about how you can best support the members of your community who would benefit from this programming - both trans Jews and allies.
All sponsorship contributions go directly to the programmatic costs of the convening including A&V and tech costs, honoraria for program leaders, communications costs, and making sure we can keep the convening free for those who would otherwise not be able to afford it.
