Sponsor an Oneg / Kiddush

Sharing life's occasions and milestones with the community is a lovely way to honor special people and occasions and to remember loved ones.
Consider supporting a holiday/festival observance or share the joy of Shabbat!

SPONSOR online.  "Oneg" means "delight." "Livestreaming" means we can all celebrate! During these challenging times, while the synagogue is closed, we can all celebrate Shabbat online. Contributions are acknowledged from the bimah and in our Shabbat Program, with funds supporting our ongoing observance. You may select the Standard ($50) or Deluxe ($180) Oneg for the Friday or Shabbat Kiddush date of your choice. To be acknowledged during the service, submit your tribute by 12:00 PM on the Thursday prior to your selected date.  You may provide a brief (30 word maximum) text to personalize your tribute.

A NOTE about the Shabbat Oneg/Kiddush amid the Coronavirus Outbreak:  Our custom has always been to present fun finger food at the Oneg, and for a deluxe sponsorship to add a cake. CBST has created a Medical Advisory Team to determine the appropriate safeguards during the virus outbreak. Professionally guided, prudent decisions may lead us to suspend or adjust the way we handle food, but please know that your Shabbat Sponsorship (including livestreaming support) will continue to be acknowledged. Whether your sponsorship is in honor or in memory of a special person or in celebration of a simcha (happy occasion), your gifts enable the community to enjoy the beauty of Shabbat in the synagogue or at home.

Consider SPONSORING our LIVESTREAMNG that brings the Friday night (and selected Saturday morning) services home to those who can't join us in person.
This is a beautiful way to make CBST's services accessible to all who can't be in the sanctuary in person -- whether due to distance, or illness, exhaustion, or traffic! It is a profound way to honor or memorialize a loved one. Gifts at any amount are greatly appreciated.  Tribute contributions of $180 or more will be acknowledged in the Shabbat Program the following week.
