Regina Linder was born in the Bronx to a family of recent refugees from Germany. She first came to CBST in 1974 and served on the Board from 1994-99 and 2017-present, where she enjoys preparing foundation funding proposals.
Regina attended NYC public schools, CCNY (BS, Biology), University of Massachusetts (MS, Microbiology) and NYU (PhD, Basic Medical Sciences/Microbiology). She iscurrently Professor Emerita in the Medical Laboratory Sciences Dept of Hunter College (CUNY). She and her wife, Leah Trachten, are grateful for their CBST community.
