Rosanne Leipzig, Executive Officer

Rosanne Leipzig has been a member of CBST since 1983, and served as co-chair of the first Rabbi Selection Committee. Before CBST hired its first Rabbi, Rosanne was a frequent ba’alat t’fillah (cantor) for Shabbat and High Holy Days services. Over the years, she has sung tenor, alto, and now soprano in the CBST Community Chorus. As part of her Board service, she co-chairs Aging Together with Ken Karpel. Professionally, Rosanne is an emerita professor at the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at Mount Sinai. In 1988, Rosanne and her wife, Ora Chaikin, celebrated the first B’rit Ahavah in CBST’s history.
