How to Mitzvah: A Practical Guide to Jewish Ritual with Rabbi Atara Cohen

Register for "How to Mitzvah: A Practical Guide to Jewish Ritual" with Rabbi Atara Cohen

Thursdays, 5:30-6:45 pm (ET), July 22 through September 2

In each of these workshops, we will study one or two mitzvot/rituals. The time will be divided into two parts: 1) A text study about the development and history of the mitzvah 2) an in depth "how to." Some mitzvot might include: Bentching/Bircat Hamazon, Tefillin, Kiddush, Havdalah, Handwashing, and Morning Blessings. This class is for anyone: folks who are new to mitzvot, folks who want a refresher, or folks who are mitzvah curious without wanting to practice. Ability to read Hebrew is helpful but not required.

Registration includes all 6 dates. Zoom info will be emailed to registrants the morning of each date. Registrations are accepted on a rolling basis, and registrants are welcome to attend as many or as little classes as they like. Recordings will be made available to registrants.
