The dream of CBST's New Home became a reality on April 3, 2016.

Be included in this historic accomplishment.
In February 1973, the founders of what would become CBST gathered for a Shabbat Service. In February 1977, CBST rented space at Westbeth on Bethune Street. For forty years, we made the loft space our home, while holding Friday night Shabbat services at the Church of the Holy Apostles, for nearly two decades. Our community has continued to grow in engagement of members and friends, in partnerships with other like-minded organizations, in impact on individuals and society, and in our goals. Actively seeking a new home for more than a decade, CBST purchased a three-level space in the landmarked Cass Gilbert Building with the vision to move from the obscure West Village loft to a new visible and conveniently accessible location. That journey has been long and the commitment intense; the construction project of huge scope, the funding generous and meaningful.
Now, the dream continues to unfold as we adjust to our New home for a constantly growing community. There are still several significant dedication and naming opportunities available, with levels beginning at $100,000. Acknowledgement on the Donor Wall starts at $18,000 level (commitments may be fulfilled over a 3-year period).
Every contribution of any amount, is meaningful, important, and greatly appreciated.
