CBST's Adult B'nai Mitzvah program is a remarkable journey of learning, praying, studying and exploring Jewish identity and tradition. For some, this is a process toward a first b’nai mitzvah, and for some, it is a different kind of experience than the one you had when you were young. Whatever the motivation for embarking on this path, welcome.
The program is a three year, six semester experience which culminates in a celebration of becoming b’nai mitzvah in the spring of the third year. Various teachers will lead this program, and class topics include liturgy, Jewish history, Torah, theology, Hebrew, and Torah Cantillation.
The Adult Bnai Mitzvah cohort of 2020 will begin in November 2017 with CBST's Lehrhaus classes. Info and registration are here.
Ready to sign up? Fill out this form, which will give us more information about your Jewish educational background, learning, and spiritual path (this is not an “application” or test - simply a way for us to learn more about you)! Then, sign up for our Lehrhaus classes for the fall!
As soon as you are ready to make a commitment to this program, please fill out the questionnaire and return it to Rabbi Rapport.
We are looking forward to this time of learning, questioning and exploring together!
