CBST Retreat 2018 at Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center
Registration for the Retreat is now closed. For further information or to be placed on a waiting list, please contact Nancy NIsselbaum at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are thrilled to announce this year's annual retreat, "The 70 Faces of Israel," to be held at Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center.
Spend a glorious weekend in nature, learn with CBST staff and clergy, pray in community and shmooze with the goats!
This year's retreat highlights include Scholars-in-Residence Rabbi Ayelet Cohen, New Israel Fund's Senior Director of NY/Tri-State Region, and Rabbi Marc Margolius, Senior Program Director of the Institute for Jewish Spirituality. Additional offerings include pickle-making with Adamah farmers, bourbon-tasting with a Kentucky native, and a night hike through magnificent woods.
The theme of this year's retreat, "The 70 Faces of Israel," reflects Israel's many facets, from the ancient land to the modern state, as well as the many people who live there. Registration is now open, and early bird discounts will be available until February 28. Scholarships are available, specifically for families with children enrolled in Limmud b' Shabbat, and members of CBST Aleinu's 20s and 30s group.
