Ma'ariv & CBST Annual Second Night Community Seder 5778
Thank you for your interest in CBST's Second Night Community Seder. Reservations are full and online registration is now closed. To be placed on a waiting list in case we have cancellations, contact Nancy at 212-929-9498 x 876. Best wishes for a meaningful and joyful Passover to all.
Honor the sweetest traditions of feasting and gathering as a community. CBST's Second Night Passover Seder draws on familiar and newly formed texts and rituals. Enjoy a Kosher savory meal (vegetarian options available) served in our Wine Family Sanctuary. We promise, this night will be different from all other nights. Bring friends of all faiths and ages - families with children are especially welcome. Together we will sing, pray, and celebrate our way out of Pharaoh's Egypt into greater strength as free people. We look forward to raising the four glasses with you. Seating is limited.
Halacha (Jewish law) prohibits eating chametz (leaven) during Pesach. Did you know weare also forbidden to own chametz or even to have it on our premises? Tradition provides a legal procedure: we can sell our chametz and, an hour after the end of the holiday, purchase it back (without actual delivery or pick-up). Use this form to sell your chametz to CBST.
