CONCERT:  Yiddish Songs of Love & Resistance
Celebrating the 1st Anniversary of the Home of Our Own Dedication
Sunday, April 2, 2017, 2:00 pm
in the CBST Wine Family Sanctuary, 130 W 30th St, NYC


Join us for a concert of great Yiddish songs to soothe the soul and stir the spirit to action. Love songs and protest songs by some of the great composers and writers of the Yiddish world. Featuring the world's leading klezmer violinist Alicia Svigals (of Klezmatics fame); renowned Yiddish singer/songwriter (and CBST's own) Amanda "Miryem-Khaye" Seigel and Cantorial Intern Steve Zeidenberg (vocals); and under the direction of Yiddish music maven and CBST Music Director Joyce Rosenzweig (piano), Cantorial Intern Steve Zeidenberg, and the CBST Community Chorus.

75 minute performance, with 15 minutes of sing-along
