Alef-Bet Pride Shabbat (ages 0-5)

Daily Pride activities & challenges posted Thurs-Tues, June 25-30

11:45 am -- March together and celebrate Pride with an online Parade during our song-filled service designed especially for our youngest congregants and their families. On this Shabbat, children will be able to wave to their Alef-Bet friends on Zoom (the link will be emailed to CBST's list of families with children an hour before) or can watch the livestream! To interact with parts of the service, you may type in the comments (they will include your child's name in the Hello Song), find a noisemaker to shake or scarf/fabric to wave, or just watch and dance at home!

12:30 pm -- Then stay for UNDER THE RAINBOW: A PRIDE AGGADAH ADVENTURECome aboard the ark and brave the storm with Noah and his friends as they figure out the importance of sticking together when the going gets tough. A showing of this CBST original production with puppetry, music, storytelling and participation, this creative re-imagining of Noah's story (and the appearance of the world's first rainbow) is the perfect way to introduce your child to the special rainbow connection between our LGBTQ community and the Torah! CLICK to view the trailer

This year, CBST is working with Tkiya: The Jewish Music Community Initiative, whose song leaders around NYC use participatory music experiences to reinvigorate diverse Jewish communities.
