Traditional Egalitarian Minyan Shabbat Morning Services

9:30am - Traditional Egalitarian Minyan Shabbat Morning Services
The TEM service, or Traditional Egalitarian Minyan, reflects a long-established mode of praying the complete Sabbath morning liturgy (including Musaf.) In addition, the full parasha (Torah portion) is chanted. TEM’s name reflects both an increased use of Hebrew at this service, as well as a commitment to gender equality in every aspect of participating and leading the service. This service uses siddur Lev Shalem, the Conservative movement's prayer book. You are welcome to attend, regardless of your knowledge of Hebrew or prior synagogue experience. All services include a D'var Torah (short sermon.) The service concludes at approximately 12:30 pm, followed by a Kiddush lunch.

How Can I Support Livestreaming at CBST?
Given the coronavirus, our livestreaming is more vital than ever in keeping our community tight-knit and vibrant. Livestreaming costs around $2,000 per week, which was not an originally budgeted expense — so if you want to sponsor a service to help us continue to hold Shabbat services and other programming during this challenging time, it’s a great mitzvah! You can sponsor the livestream in honor or in memory of someone you love. To contribute and make it possible for CBST to continue livestreaming, click here.
