Sheepshead Bay Holocaust Memorial Park Walking Tour
Do you want to hear the real history behind how New York got a stone marker remembering the homosexuals killed during the Nazi era in America? It took over 25 years to get the 5 markers to the other victims of the Nazi era inscribed in The Sheepshead Bay Holocaust Memorial Park, and now you will know the whole story. Afterwards, weather permitting, we will go to Coney Island.
This free, 1hr guided walking tour, co-sponsored by CBST and RUSA LGBT, is led by Rick Landman, early pioneer of the LGBT Rights Movement, former CBST board member, and director of Infotrue Walking Tours.
Please register, so we know you are coming! This event is offered free of charge, but please consider a contribution to Adult Education at CBST to help keep programs like this happening! Contact Jkatz@cbst.org with any questions.
