Public Forum: QUEER & NOW
Honoring the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and World Pride in NYC, Public Forum adds their voice to the chorus of LGBTQ+ artists, activists, & organizers fighting for a better tomorrow, today. Join in a celebration of music, poetry, prose, & theater hosted by Jomama Jones as Public Forum: QUEER & NOW honors the legacy of resistance & the ongoing fight for LGBTQ+ liberation & pride. FEATURING: Trevor Bachman, Kate Bornstein, Lea DeLaria, Jordan E. Cooper, Ryan J. Haddad, the Jerriese Johnson Gospel Choir, Erin Markey, Darnell Moore, Peppermint, Toshi Reagon, Conrad Ricamora, Aneesh Sheth, Chase Strangio & more.
This event will take place at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park. The Central Park entrances closest to the theater are at 81st Street and Central Park West or 79th Street and Fifth Avenue. CBST has a limited amount of tickets reserved for members. You must register with us to reserve your seat. Tickets are free, but please consider a contribution to support programming at CBST! Once you have registered, your ticket will be reserved for pickup at the box office on the day of the event. In the 'NOTE' box please confirm the full names of all guests you are registering, in addition to yourself. Doors open at 7:30 PM, and the show starts at 8:00 PM.
