Led by: Lindsay Amer (Creator of Queer Kid Stuff)
Raise your rainbow flag and bring your little ones for LGBTQ+ songs and stories! Join Lindsay and their best-stuffed friend Teddy from Queer Kid Stuff for an afternoon of crafts, stories, and songs at the intersection of queerness and Judaism.
Lindsay Amer is a queer activist, artist, and storyteller. They create and host Queer Kid Stuff, an LGBTQ+ educational web series for ages 3 and up. They were named a Spring 2019 TED Resident, a 2018 Queero by them.us, a Rising Star by GLAAD, are a Webby Award Honoree, and recipient of a 2018 VidCon Emerging Creator Grant. Their work creating queer-inclusive digital media for kids has been recognized by NBC Out, Upworthy, Wussy Magazine, HuffPost, Teen Vogue, Refinery29, and Kidscreen. They obtained their BS from Northwestern University in theater and gender studies and their MA from Queen Mary University of London for theatre and performance studies. When they’re not taking down the patriarchy, they’re probably roaming around Brooklyn with their uke, their incredible partner, and their puppy!
