Weekly Torah and Talmud Study
Rabbi Mike Moskowitz leads this text-based, “Mishmar,” study in two parts. In the first hour, trans and non-binary participants are invited to study Parashat Hashavua (the weekly Torah portion). Everyone of every gender identity is welcome to the second hour in which we will study Talmud. All backgrounds and skill levels are welcome to attend, including beginners, and there are no pre-requisite skills required.
Classes run regularly every Thursday beginning January 10. Parashat Hashavua (weekly Torah portion) study for trans and non-binary participants begins at 6:30pm. Talmud study open to everyone of every gender identity begins at 7:45pm.
These study sessions are free of charge and contributions will benefit Trans Jews Are Here programming. CBST recommends regular attendance especially for Talmud study, but drop-ins are always welcome.
