Ilene Sameth,
Executive Director
Ilene has enjoyed a seven-year career in synagogue
management, specializing in community development. She has multifaceted experience in
programming, financial management, communications, IT development, events planning,
membership and fundraising. Before coming to CBST, Ilene was executive director and
membership director, respectively, at two synagogues in New York City. [full

Joyce Rosenzweig,
Music
Director
Joyce has served as CBST's music director
since 1994. A leading figure in Jewish music and music education, Ms. Rosenzweig is
artist-in-residence at Hebrew Union College in New York. She is a sought-after pianist,
coach, and lecturer on Jewish music, and has collaborated in recital with most of the
great cantors of this generation. [full

Chet Rojice Jr. ,
Operations Manager
Canton, Ohio, native Chet Rojice Jr. started his position as accounts receivable and database administrator in April 2005 and is now office manager. Prior to working at CBST, Chet served as operations manager of an electronics manufacturing company and as the office manager at several companies. At CBST, Chet most enjoys the atmosphere of openness, the overall sense of making a difference in the world, and the camaraderie among the staff. Chet currently resides in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan with his partner, Scott, a floral manager; and their three dogs. In his spare time, Chet enjoys reading and camping. He has received honors for his achievements in French and music.

Tasha Calhoun,
Assistant to Rabbi Kleinbaum
Born in Manhattan, raised in both Manhattan
and the Bronx, and now living in New Jersey, Tasha Calhoun is the longtime assistant
to Rabbi Kleinbaum. She has been on staff since November of 1994, when she divided her
time between CBST and an internship with a documentary production company. Prior to
joining the CBST staff, Tasha was an honor student at the University of Rochester and
at Hunter College. She is the author and illustrator of the children’s book Avery’s Tooth
and Treasure. When she’s not at CBST, Tasha can be found raising her two beautiful children, Ethan and
Avery, working on her next children's book, and cheering for the Cliffside Park wrestling team, of which Ethan is a member. |
