Liberal Minyan
The 2nd and last Saturday of the Month (Bethune Street), 10:00 AM
The Liberal Minyan meets at 10:00 am to daven Shabbat morning services in a consciously modern context. We use the Reconstructionist prayer book, Kol HaNeshamah, which combines traditional and contemporary liturgy in Hebrew and English. We read from the Torah according to the triennial cycle and discuss the parshat hashavuah (the week's Torah portion) with one of CBST's Cooperberg-Rittmaster Rabbinical Interns. The service ends at approximately 12:30 and is followed by a kiddush lunch. To volunteer as either a service leader or Torah reader, please contact the CBST office.
