CBST is excited to continue Limmud Mishpachah, its new education program for children.  This program integrates and expands our existing Shabbat, holiday, and weekday programs for families with children. Over the next year or two, new models for learning will be added, particularly focusing neighborhood learning opportunities and  multi-generational programming involving the entire CBST community.

Limmud B’Shabbat

For children in grades K-2. The curriculum on one morning will focus on Shabbat, holidays, and Jewish customs and on the second morning the curriculum will focus on topics such as Jewish identity, tzedakah, and social justice.  By Grade 3, an additional day of study will be required mid-week, either taking place at CBST or in a neighborhood chevruta. (We anticipate beginning neighborhood weekday learning in Fall 2008).
