Wherever our feet land we temple hop


Have you ever gone temple hopping? A favorite pastime for my husband and me is to poke our heads and admire the architecture of religious buildings.

We have shaken hands with Cardinal Spellman at Saint Patrick's Cathedral, participated in the Fifth Avenue Easter Parade to hear the glorious music, and visited ever so many cathedrals in Europe. But we especially try to visit every synagogue we possibly can find. Wherever our feet land we temple hop.
In Europe we visited temples in various countries, especially to kvell over the reconstruction of so many of the old synagogues that were destroyed by the Nazis. But some of the most beautiful temples are right here in the United States. Whenever we pass a synagogue we try to peak.
