Our 2011 Shabbat Shirah Concert was a huge success! The concert was sold out, Merkin Concert Hall was packed, and the music was beautiful.
The concert honored our incredible Music Director, Joyce Rosenzweig, for her many years of bringing incredible music to our community and supporting the world of Jewish music as teacher, performer, mentor and advocate.
Cantorial Intern Magda Fishman was featured in the concert. Other performers included Israeli composer/pianist/guitarist Gilad Cohen, bouzouki and guitar virtuoso Avram Pengas, and the CBST Chorus under the direction of Joyce Rosenzweig.
